​Wayne Dollarhide
Founder

Wayne has been blessed with a lovely wife and 3 daughters that he is very proud of. As a business owner, he founded Cambridge Homes in 1997. He has a vast knowledge of budgeting, managing, and customer service. These skills have helped Wayne launch 5 Loaves. He gives all glory to God in the knowledge that he has obtained through these life experiences to lead 5 Loaves. Wayne has been able to keep the overhead substantially low for 5 Loaves by using his business to cover most of the expenses including staff in the US. "I have a great passion for the calling Jesus has put in my heart for undernourished children, and my desire is to see a 5 Loaves’ feeding program established in every country. We’ve come a long way in 12 years, but there is so much more work to be done. I am blessed to have a devoted team that wants to make a difference!"

Michele Dollarhide
Secretary

​Michele has worked side by side with Wayne from the beginning. Assisting Wayne in managing all of the operations, coordination, planning and many other aspects of the the organization- on top of working full time at home raising 3 daughters. "Its amazing to see the impact the feeding programs have made with the children. Our partners who we are proud to call friends are so awesome, and we are so blessed to work with them and to see how they love and serve the children. It’s incredible to witness how fast these programs are growing, and it wouldn’t be possible without the support we receive and the great staff."

Dan Effinger
Board Member

​Dan has been a staff assistant pastor of Calvary Murrieta since December of 1999 and has been an active board member there since 1993. Before joining staff at Calvary he provided marketing expertise to his company that provided engineering and construction services in the development of various drug technologies. His ministry experience includes the travel to many different countries in Central America and Asia and has served on the 5 Loaves board since 2010. Dan understands the call of Jesus to minister to children who are some of the most marginalized in our world and in doing so as though it is to Jesus. Being part of Five Loaves and bringing awareness and action is part of what is making his life feel full. He has been married since 1981 and has two children who are currently pursuing advanced and undergraduate degrees at the Cal State and UC University level.

Larry Hansen
Board Member

Larry has been a pastor with Calvary Murrieta since August 2006 and is currently serving as the missions’ pastor. He also serves as a part time teaching pastor at Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California. He has been involved with missions for many years which has encompassed trips to Africa, Europe, South America and Asia. He enjoys building many cross-cultural relationships around the globe. His experience with 5 Loaves started in 2009 and has participated in many trips to multiple nations. Larry has been instrumental in developing relationships with orphanages we partner with in Albania. Larry’s desire is to see children fed according to James 1:27, “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”

​Bryce Dollarhide
Grant Writer

Bryce is a critical part of the 5 Loaves team,working on grants. She has grown up in 5 Loaves and is proud to be a part of the family-run organization. Bryce is currently finishing her undergraduate degree at CSU San Marcos and enjoys her downtime visiting the countries where 5 Loaves is in operation.​ “When I visit the children in the feeding programs they bless me more than I could imagine! The people in the countries we visit are so welcoming and kind and we all love them so much! The most priceless experience is seeing the expression on the kids faces when you give a simple smile and hug. The experience overall is something that cannot be fully explained in words, but only by seeing it for yourself! These kids really touch all our hearts!”
